I have often helped customers decide
on the colors or schemes they will use,
by using
computer simulated pictures of their house or
rooms. With this
program,
I am able to take
photos of the existing subjects and with the aid
of
the program,
we fill in various color selection
changes. This, very
realistically, helps one determine
whether their perceived color choices will
look
good when the color is fully applied
to the house
or room.
In time I plan to include more graphic
examples here of the original "before photos",
next
to potential
color scenarios.

Below is a Photo Gallery which illustrates how Jane Mitchell used these capabilities to experiment with
colors
for her Victorian house of antiques and gifts. She changed it from a dull
monolith to a "Painted Lady". It is located across from the
Ozark Actors Theater in Rolla, MO. Keep in mind that these were merely
experiments:
These last two photos are closest to
the actual changes we arrived at. The fish-scale siding in the gable
peak ended up different alternating rows, and, of course, what I haven't shown
is the delightful accents that we did
on the porch "gingerbread" molding and the small details on the tops of the
window casings.
